Fifty Fifty ‘08 logo: The might Fifty Fifty store here in Bristol, after 10 years on Park Row, is moving to the bigger & better premises on Park Street, next to the infamous Banksy piece on the bridge. The celebrate the new store which is due to open next month, I was honoured to be able to design a brand new identity for the Fifty gents, which will adorn the new store aswell as the new online store & site which I’m also producing in time for the opening! This is a bit of a first for me too, as it’s the first logo I’ve done by hand from scratch! It was a case of drawing - scanning - redrawing - rescanning and repeating that until the shape and layout was solid, then once that was complete, it was time to retrace it all in illustrator with the pen tool, then put in the fill and the halftone-esque shading! Safe to say I’m very very happy with it, and thanks to Danny & Syd @ Fifty for the chance to be involved! Watch this space for more on the new store! Best viewed large
