I am very happy to announce that last night us folk at Aardman Digital picked up 2 BIMA awards! Our Shaun the Sheep game ‘Home Sheep Home’ won in the category ‘Effectiveness’ and the site we built for The Tate Movie Project won in the ‘Websites & Microsites’ category!
As Digital is the youngest of the Aardman family, we’d never won any awards before so this really meant alot to us! After a mad year of exciting projects and rapid growth, it’s lovely to have a token of acceptance from the digital world for the things we’re making!
A huge well done to everyone at Aardman, lots of very clever people worked very hard on these projects and I’m honoured to be involved with them, it’s a real pleasure to work with such inspiring people.
Please keep your fingers crossed for us on Sunday though, as Home Sheep Home is nominated for a Children’s BAFTA! We’ve got our fingers AND toes crossed for that…
