Last Thursday was the night of the fabled Aardman Halloween Party, where everyone from Aards comes together to dance, drink and out-do each other with the level of costume! We couldn’t compete with the likes of the Daft Punk outfit or the Jawa costume but myself, Tom & Taff decided to go as 3 members from everyones favourite 9-piece masked metal band Slipknot!

Tom (left) went as #8, Corey, the lead singer and I (right) went as Joey, #1, the main drummer, with Taff (not shown) came as skull-faced Syd, #0! We all had matching red boiler suits complete with the Slipknot ‘S’ logo on the chests and the mate.feed.kill.repeat barcode on the back (painstakingly spray painted on!)

To finish it off, our friend Jake who was playing with his band, The Relay Rips, at the party, invited “the members of Slipknot” on-stage to headbang our way through his set. Needless to say we did but with all of us doing our necks in, it’s been a while since we all head banged like that!
