Mr Alex Older, one of Bristol’s resident web guru’s put’s on a yearly conference around Web Development & design, aptly titled the Web Developers Conference or WDC. He asked if I would design the conference badges, and seeing as I’d never designed a conference pass before I jumped at the chance, always fun to try something new!
Here they are, the attendee pass and the speaker pass. I wanted to have a bit of fun and play on the web theme, so gave the back of the pass a Server 404 error (which is what happens when a server can’t find the web page you’ve requested). The speakers have the same pass but with the colours reversed and their name in lights (well, big) on the front.
As the above graphic suggests, I’m also speaking at the event with my creative director Dan Efergan, we’re going to be tag teaming on a session so be sure to come check that out. The conference is on the 27th October at the exhibition & conference centre at UWE, you can still get tickets here.
